Welcome to Jolly Crumbs! I’m Chelsea and absolutely delighted you found yourself here. I live in Nebraska with my husband, and best guinea pig taste tester, Sam. I also have a one year old, who may make some guest appearances.
I’ve always had a passion for cooking and baking. Through late high school and early college I entertained the idea of becoming a pastry chef or even owning my own bakery. Lets just say I decided on a different path in life for now. I have been a vegetarian for over a decade. So, all of my recipes are vegetarian. I hope this doesn’t discourage you from trying them out. Sam is not a vegetarian, but he enjoys
almost everything I cook and bake. You may find friendly tips at the end of my recipes, should you want to add any additional protein.
I started Jolly Crumbs with hopes to share healthy recipes that make me happy. I’ve struggled with the roller coaster of losing and gaining weight for a large chunk of my adult life. Since having my son, I have rode the roller coaster again. I found that my diet pre-pregnancy wasn’t working post-pregnancy. So, I have decided to switch the focus of my blog after a long hiatus. The new focus will now be recipes that are a mixture of low calorie, or are decadent – but always full of flavor. I am leaving the decision up to you which recipes you want to work into your healthy lifestyle!
