I love fast, easy to make dishes now more than ever since we’ve added to our family. I also love customization. As a vegetarian who is married to a non-vegetarian, it is key to have meals that we can customize to our own preferences. In this case, we went vegetarian on these crispy tostadas. However, you can easily add meat to these or more veggies. This dish is truly adaptable to whatever you feel like! Not to mention it only takes about 10-15 minutes from oven to table! First, I want to apologize for my blog lately. I haven’t been able to post a new recipe in a while, which I feel extremely bad for. However, I have a recipe this week that I just have to share with you. This recipe will make up for the lack of activity on my blog lately, I promise. If you are looking for a delicious recipe to try, I have one for you.
You all know how much I love easy recipes. Combine an easy recipe with something saucy, cheesy, and filling and I’m interested. Very interested. I also love classic dishes with a slight twist to them. So, I wanted to share a very classic dish, spaghetti with red sauce, but made in a slightly different way.
I haven’t posted a recipe from Soup Sunday in quite a while. So, it’s about that time to share another delicious and easy recipe for a soup I love. Now, I’ve posted a couple other soups that may seem similar to this one. However, I promise this soup is really different. I have made a couple tomato soups before, and both were great successes. This soup combines a wonderful tomato flavor with the interesting texture of quinoa.
Easy, cheap meals are very important in my life. Sometimes I can make the more involved recipes. Other times I don’t have longer than to throw something in the oven or into a skillet. So, I like to have a variety of recipes that fit different situations and occasions. Once again I channeled my love for brinner into this recipe. However, this made delicious leftovers for breakfast, and it can easily be made quickly in the mornings.
Once upon a time ago, I hated broccoli. My mom was a broccoli with cheddar cheese sauce fan when I was growing up, but I just couldn’t eat it. If I can’t eat a vegetable smothered in cheese, it’s probably not meant to be, right? Well, fast forward to last year. I saw a recipe for a broccoli and cheddar soup. It actually looked really good. So, I wanted to try it for Soup Sunday. I can’t tell you enough how worried I was about making a big batch of broccoli and cheddar soup. I mean, I hate broccoli right? Well, this soup changed my tune on broccoli.
I have come across a few recipes which stop me in my tracks. This was one such recipe. I was entranced by the cheesy look of this flatbread. Now, this isn’t a traditional flatbread. It is made from puff pastry, so it is incredibly flaky and buttery. It’s also topped with some delicious things. So, if you are searching for a new twist on pizza and flatbread, you have stumbled across the perfect recipe.
