Along with Italian food, I love Mexican food. I am also a huge fan of casseroles. In fact, I’ve made a few casseroles on here already. A couple of those casseroles happen to be Mexican inspired. So, I guess you could say I enjoy making and eating Mexican casseroles. Anyway, this post includes a delicious Mexican casserole. Oh, and it includes Doritos. Doritos are always delicious.

Macaroni and cheese. I am willing to bet that most people recognize those words together. Actually, those are two of my favorite things combined together into one delicious creation. Do you know what makes macaroni and cheese even better? Placing it into a muffin pan and baking it so it is in a portable, cup form. Oh, and adding a buttery, crunchy crust to it takes it over the edge.

Quinoa Crust Pizza

My favorite food is pizza. If I had to eat the same type of food every day, I would easily choose pizza. This post comes with something I’ve been waiting a little while to experiment with. It’s a twist on traditional pizza. I know, I know. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Well, pizza tends to be a little high in calories, therefore it is a little broke for me. So, I wanted to try something a little different and lower calorie. I’ve seen cauliflower crust pizzas, which I will eventually try. However, this is a pizza I haven’t seen around much in the social scene.

I find pasta filling and definitely worth the calories when it is done correctly. I tried a little different pasta dish this week. It’s based around hearty rigatoni and creamy cheese. Yes, big surprise I used cheese. It’s also a disease I have… There is no cure for pasta and cheese disease. However, this dish comes pretty darn close at healing my ailments.

I’ve posted a few times about how I love Italian food. Pizza is probably my favorite food of all foods. I’ve probably said this as well. And yet I haven’t made pizza on this blog yet. I have some future plans for pizzas I would like to try, but this post comes with a recipe I have been making for a few years. It is a form of pizza, kind of. It tastes like a delicious pizza casserole of sorts. I’ve enjoyed this recipe for several years, and it is very easy to make.

Merry Christmas! I hope this post finds you eating some delicious treats and spending time with loved ones. This may seem like an odd post for Christmas, but I think all food is perfect during the holidays. One of the most comforting foods, to me, is pasta.  Pasta is one of my favorite foods. I especially love it in casseroles when it is melty and cheesy. This recipe does just that!

Cheese Lasagna

Cheese Lasagna | jollycrumbs.com

I love Italian food. Pizza and pasta are two things I could never give up eating. While pasta isn’t necessarily lower calorie, it is very filling, and you can do a lot of things with it. One of my favorite dishes is lasagna. I love pasta, cheese, and sauce layered together in melty goodness. I’ve been making this easy cheese lasagna for a few years now, and it has not failed me yet.
