I love snacks and snacking. However, since I have started to eat healthier and cut back on excessive eating, snacking has really had to be limited. When I do snack, the snacks have to be lower in calorie but filling at the same time. This brings me to my post today. I love crunchy, salty snacks. So, what better way to ensure snacks are low in calorie than make them yourself?
Macaroni and cheese. I am willing to bet that most people recognize those words together. Actually, those are two of my favorite things combined together into one delicious creation. Do you know what makes macaroni and cheese even better? Placing it into a muffin pan and baking it so it is in a portable, cup form. Oh, and adding a buttery, crunchy crust to it takes it over the edge.

Have you ever seen recipes that are “copycat” ones, such as: copycat Red Lobster cheddar biscuits, Twinkies, Olive Garden bread sticks, etc.? Well this one post is similar to a copycat post. It’s just slightly different, but the flavors are the exact same. No bake Twix cookies. These taste like a Twix bar, but better.
Now that Christmas has come and gone, I should probably finish my last installment of Christmas candies. Although, who am I kidding? Candy is perfect any time of the year. However, I specifically made this recipe for my family for Christmas. I have made it a few times, and it’s always been a hit. It’s another salty and sweet combination, and we all know how much I love salty and sweet.
