Lately I have been exploring different ingredients in my baking. I started to use Truvia Baking Blend in place of sugar and Splenda. I really, really love this switch to Truvia. I then started to look into different swaps with ingredients. I have been swapping apple sauce in place of oil in quite a few of my recipes. Now, I am starting to swap out butter and oil for Greek yogurt. I have to say, so far I am impressed. I made this successful swap in my Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies, and those were delicious. So I wanted to give you another yummy recipe featuring Greek yogurt.
You know I’m a dessert fiend. No need to go through this again in great detail. If I had to rank desserts, it would go: cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and then pies (with other desserts thrown into the lineup as well). I wanted to focus on a cookie for this blog. My favorite cookie would have to be chocolate chip. I have made Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies and Chocolate Chip Potato Chip Cookies on here before. Both of these recipes rock. So I wanted to add in another chocolate chip cookie recipe that is slightly different and still low in calories.
Along with Italian food, I love Mexican food. I am also a huge fan of casseroles. In fact, I’ve made a few casseroles on here already. A couple of those casseroles happen to be Mexican inspired. So, I guess you could say I enjoy making and eating Mexican casseroles. Anyway, this post includes a delicious Mexican casserole. Oh, and it includes Doritos. Doritos are always delicious.
Now, I need you to prepare yourself for one of the easiest recipes to date. You may know I love pizza. It’s my favorite food. I am a pizza connoisseur and a pretty good judge of good pizza. I’ve made a couple pizza related posts on here (Bubble Pizza and Quinoa Crust Pizza). However, this is an even easier recipe. And, it makes real pizza dough. No lying. It takes 4 ingredients and just a few minutes to make a delicious, healthy pizza dough. Seriously, you are not going to believe this.
Have you ever eaten something and felt it needed a sauce? Not in the sense that the food was dry and a sauce would add moisture, but that the food would just be above and beyond with a sauce of some sort on it? This blog is best friends with the Baked Zucchini Fritters from yesterday. The fritters were amazing, no lying. However. this sauce took those fritters out of this world. I love this sauce, and I’m betting you will too.
